aelia...you have a dream about the sims community, and a large wankfest within, and in your dream, you leave rather a bitchy comment.
Then you wake up with the 'oh GOD, I need to delete it because it was too bitchy, and I can't be bothered with the ensuing argument. I may or may not, even after realising that it was just a dream, checked to make sure that that journal did not exist, and that I never commented on it.
I don't even know why dream!self was commenting on that, I barely know the persons involved, nor have I ever exchanged words with them. The drama was though, entirely plausible, and I was in full agreeance with the 'mean' side.
Right. On that note, I am going to have a lovely strong coffee, and some malteasers for breakfast. :)

XD, you know you love me :D I will rip out those meshes for you when I get home. It's no good asking me if it would look good in neons, I think everything should be neoned. I would pooklet my IRL room if I could. I think the world would have less miserable arseholes if there were moar neons. BUT ANYWAY.
I'm not sure if the bangle is meshed on, I've not looked. I think it might be though :/ The H&M pack is wierd, at first glance it is full of withering fail but there is a surpisingly large amount of potential in there. Bloom's shoe idea is an excellent one, 'side from the problems you mentioned, plus I'm not sure whether doing boots would not involve a shitload of messing about with bone assignments to kill the clipping. I would have liked to see how tutu boy's transmuters worked (and whether they were made of clippy clippy fail) but I never did like those damn transmuters. cyber boots FTW!
...dear god, I don't know whether that contest would have been horrific, or hysterically funny. It sure as hell boggles the mind. Drawn on peens are SRS BNS I take it? I see no problem with vistiting Certain People's flickr's for a laugh. I do the same thing with other artists, particularly if I am in a low spot regarding my own skill (or uh, lack there of :P) What they don't know, doesn't hurt 'em :P

Curly meshes are awesome, and there is not nearly enough of them. I've never really looked into converting stuff from poser - the poser people scare the hell out of me. Seriously. I think that's part of the reason I dislike TS3 is that they remind me of poser figures. Link me to a few good ones though, I can always pull them apart in Maya and at least use them as reference. I wanna mesh them from scratch, partly because of HOLYSHITHIGHPOLY, partly for bragging rights, but mostly because low poly modelling is a skill I can use to obtain a job XD
ROFL, I think my facination for dreads comes from the fact that my hair is so utterly caucasian and undreadable it's not funny. I never used to even be able to plait it without the holder slipping out. I mostly came up with this character to force me to learn how to draw a person with facial features that were not generic white person 1083573. She grew on me from there.
My game is a bizzare mismash of every style out there. There is a shitload of neon though. My last neighbourhood (that sadly died in a BFBVFS) had er, four simultaenous rainbow legacies running. Believe me, the Crayola crayon box is less of an absurd metaphor than you think it is XD I may or may not have a list of all the crayola crayon colours for naming purposes. I also kinda extended said rainbow legacy to have twelve colours and generations, just to have moar colours.
The breeding part is great fun, and the algorithyms are pretty damn good for a game. I wish they were a little more complex (I'd love to have certain traits passed down through a gender line or some such thing) I think that's another reason TS3 pisses me off, they completely scrapped a good system for a shitbox simple one. RAEG. I hate the fact that if you change a sims haircolour, the new dyejob becomes genetic and gets passed down through the family.
The problem with hideous sims, is that the little bastards grow on you. I actually scrapped my old pretty PT set for a set that has the original maxian alien faces to get a variety of wierd. I blame SHWC for that.
