BRB computer shop time. >:| It is, as far as I know (and fingers crossed!!) it's just the connector bit for the second monitor, which was about thirty bucks.


... and can someone explain to me just why tinypic is suddenly in German?

EDIT: WHOOOT. It was the connector, I now have a normal screen once more, and best of all, it was only a nine dollar piece :D

I hate when tinypic does that. But there's a drop-down box at the bottom of the veeeery bottom of the page where you can change the language.

asdfgjkl; My monitor used to do that all the time, it's usually just one of the little pins in the connector going all bendy.

Hee, thanks for the advice - and it's always nice to know exactly which buttons to press, kinda hard looking for the language button when one doens't speak that language :D

I think that was what the problem was - one of the pins looked like it was on a bit of an odd angle
