I've done that, except it's usually 'make sure you put the pretty default replacement instead of the extracted object in your downloads folder.' My sympathies.

Yesterday I loaded the game to test the object... And discovered I forgot to import the new texture in SimPE.

Argh, I have done that waaay too many times for my own good :D And then spend a good hour or two obessing over why it won't show the new object, never thinking that one forgot to import the new shiney?

Considering the little cc that I've made, it's amazing just how frequently this has occurred to me. I feel your pain.

What is even more amazing, at least for me, is that no matter the sheer amount of times I have committed this singularly stupid act, it never occurs to me to make sure the file is actually where it should be XD
