So, y'all know that 20k poly Atlua dress that Enayla has the penchant for recolouring?(Lace Midnight for those who don't)I was highly bored and decided to see if I could reduce the poly count.

I will seriously make something for the person who comes closest to guessing just how many polys I shaved off it by deleting a few things and changing the shoes.

I will be posting the pictures + fixed skins later tonight so if ya wanna guess :P I'm off to go tweak the others now!

Burninating the necklace left me with 13260 so it was 7176 polys.

The front ornament only came to 618

And the shoes themselves were 7305. How the fuck does one make shoes with over (oh the tempation to write 9000!) seven thousand polys? I was worried about my entire Wa-Loli mesh being around 4000k for chrissakes!

HOLY SHIT. I was just bullshitting when I said that. this is like... a glimpse of what life would be like if Raon did clothes. what shoes are on the mesh now?

Thing is, it was all in utterly useless shit! The necklace and shoes both had beads or pearls or something and were made up of a whole ton of spheres. Said spheres were subdivided so many times that each sphere had about 20 polys each. Completely unecessary, they were so small that they didn't need to be absolutely smooth.

Shoes are now a pair of strappy H&M wedges, not entirely happy with how they look, but for 7k less, they'll do! I'll post a picture later, soon as my sis quits killing people on Lego Star Wars :P

As for that hair, what kinda textures do you want? Nouk, mine, leigened?

that makes it even worse, all of that RAM killage for, of all things, BEADS. I'd have thrown myself out a window before wrestling it down to submission.

I'm honestly excited! that mesh was always so ridiculous that it was never on my radar, but now I can't wait to see the de-WTF'd version.
