When looking for pixel patterns in the morass that is one's portable harddrive. (Seriously, there is so much shit on that thing it's not funny)

A few years ago I used to be really into pixeling stuff. I wasn't too good at it, but it was fun and strangely relaxing. In the afore mentioned hunt, I came across a couple of things I hadn't deleted.




(I was insanely pleased with this sari. I'm pretty sure though that I actually finished it ><





(The frame rate is like twice that it it should be, but you get the point)

They're all on the Half Kaizer base, and part of a project that once went to make more resources for the base. Each piece (hair, clothing, shoes, etc,) came on a seperate PNG layer, so that one could load them into a program (hilariously like a pixelated Bodyshop ) where one could pick everything from skin and eye colour (all of two pixels heh) and the program would spit out a mashed together sprite. 'Twas fun, while it lasted)

Thus ends another random blather from me. Actual stuff to be uploaded tonight or in the next few days, but for now, brb, potato bake :P

I wish I had the ones I used to make. I spent hours on the little things. lol... Sadly they were on my mom's old pc and one day the monster didn't turn on and when we took it to get fixed the stupid guy took everything off. I lost everything. I had like 30GB of music all gone. I think I cried for days. lol

Oh no, I would have been most upset too! We've had a few similar disasters and it's been a nightmare getting everything runnning again.

(Though I swear techies are too trigger happy with the harddrive wiping. Seems to be their default solution to everything!)

Heh, no, I just love the little characters, they're great reference.

No, neither do I which is a shame, I found them bizzarely stress relieving
