...you have a dream about the sims community, and a large wankfest within, and in your dream, you leave rather a bitchy comment.

Then you wake up with the 'oh GOD, I need to delete it because it was too bitchy, and I can't be bothered with the ensuing argument. I may or may not, even after realising that it was just a dream, checked to make sure that that journal did not exist, and that I never commented on it.

I don't even know why dream!self was commenting on that, I barely know the persons involved, nor have I ever exchanged words with them. The drama was though, entirely plausible, and I was in full agreeance with the 'mean' side.

Right. On that note, I am going to have a lovely strong coffee, and some malteasers for breakfast. :)

Er, well if by broken game, you mean 'one file is fucked, and instead of merely 50/50ing the damn thing, some OCD tard uses it as an excuse to clean one's entire downloads folder out', than I would say it's about 25% that, and 75% No Fucking Time. I look forward to option B being resolved XD

And yeah, I do that too, though again, that's just me being a fool and either feeling guilty for promising something/taking on a request and not finishing it before playing, or deciding just as I start loading the game, that I really fucking need that in my game NAO.

You know, I take on a lot of requests, mostly out of a misplaced feeling of guilt, but most of the time, I'll make something I'll like but the requester won't. So. Idk. Usually I just keep it to myself then. I am a horrible person.

I had a file that broke my game too (as you know XD) and it took me three weeks of slogging through folders with the 50/50 method, because I don't have a life. I can imagine it'd take...months if it was a sideline project. But I found I really, really enjoy organising stuff now, going through with WW and deleting recolours I don't like, ect. And my Downloads is a bit smaller too, but I doubt that will last for long. XD

If you ever need someone to take previews, I'd be happy to, just as a kick up the arse to go in-game for a change, but no worries. I know you're sekritly a super sekrit agent of sekrit cc that's sekrit.

Heh, I seem to have a lot of wierd misplaced guilt floating around. It does not help that I take weeks to fufil requests. (I either forget, or bite off more then I can chew, but I refuse to not do them because of said fucked up guilt) I don't really care if the requester doesn't like it because I hold the view that 'if you don't like it, go bloody make it yourself jerkface!'. This may or may not be a left over from doing (bloody mistkenly!) a request for the infamous Michelle.

Sorting one's downloads folder is a strangely enjoyable thing sometimes, yes. Particularly the satisfaction of the compressor XD. I hardly use the WW anymore other then quick and dirty recatergorising of clothing. I am one of those wierd persons who prefers SimPE (I cannot stand binning in the WW for example...I think it was you I have already whinged to about this? XD)

I make no bones about the colossal size of my downloads folder XD A disturbing amount of the size is my own crap too :/

I've never had anyone be really rude to me ("where's my request??") but I have had someone PM me about something I said I'd do but didn't, and I still feel really bad for not doing it (it was simply just beyond my skill level, though I could probably do it now...)
I do tend to bite off more than I can chew, mostly to keep me occupied. And then I feel stressed and have to take a 'hiatus'. Oh shit I just diagnosed myself.

SimPE still gives me the shits, tbh. I can do most things with it, including extracting GMDCs and stuff WHICH SEEMED AMAZING THE FIRST TIME I DID IT OMG, which is all I really need it for (along with gen/townying stuff and extracting sims), but I am still scared of pressing buttons in case...I die or something. Or worse, my game does.

My downloads used to be 10GB+ when I was into the editing community (who STILL haven't got over Jirka and Stefan skins and photoskinned clothes, blergh), but now its a more reasonable 3.4GB. I don't think my contribution to that size is massive. XD My projects folder annoys me, its fucking huge.
